Angel Food Ministries

Blessings by the box. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Upcoming Events
  • November 25th - We will again be continuing our regular study on the book of Revelations this Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM.
  • November 30th - The Perry Sisters will be here in Concert Next Sunday. We will be taking up a special love offering Sunday morning. Everyone, please bring a friend with you for the concert.
  • Haiti Mission - The people of Haiti need much more protein in their diets. Joe Moberly is sending shipment Dec 20. He said the best things to send are peanut butter and canned meat. If you would like to contribute, please put these in the box in the copier room by Sunday Dec 14. Other items that the people are in dire need of are children’s medicines, vitamins, stomach medicine and cloth diapers. They use the cloth diapers to make clothes for the children as well. We can take these in our extra suitcase on Jan 19. Thank SO much!
  • Operation Christmas Child - Thanks so much to everyone who fixed one or more Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes!!! We have 50 boxes to send to needy children! We still need the $7 shipping cost for 3 boxes if anyone has not been able to give yet. Thank you so much!!
  • WOM - Our Women on Mission group is beginning a new ministry called Secret Sisters. (That is sisters in Christ). You will receive a questionnaire if you have joined our church in the last 2 years for info that we need. If you do not receive one in the next few weeks, please let Jenny Burris know so we don’t leave anyone out. If you do not attend WOM regularly but think that you might like to be a part of the ministry, please let Jenny Burris know.
  • Angel Food Ministries:
    • Angel Food Orders for December are due by Friday December 5th.
    • Orders will again be taken in the CLC building on Friday December 5th.
    • Distribution Day is Saturday December 20th.
    • Pickup Time for December is changed to 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
